Malaghena

Malaghèna set out to be a fashion label with a Mediterranean soul: a mark you'd recognise and a first capsule collection made in Italy from natural, traceable materials, ready to launch and to sell online.

It started with the logo: a stylised coral with the name Malaghèna and the line Design Mediterraneo, adapted for embroidery in several versions and sizes. We set the Pantone palette and drew seven patterns of coral, waves and seahorses, tested on shirts and fabrics. Then came the capsule: polo shirts, T-shirts, shirts, ties, bags and drawstring bags, with the coral embroidered on chests, cuffs and collars. We chose natural materials (cotton, linen, silk, leather), prepared the paper patterns and print artwork, then embroidered and produced every piece. Each garment carries a label with a QR code telling the story of its supply chain, fabrics and care. We also designed the website pages for the capsule and the collections.

The first capsule was produced, embroidered and labelled in our workshop and launched online on the label's own website.
