What we collect
Through the contact form: your name and company, email address and message, plus, if you choose to share them, your project's goal, quantities, timeline and budget. If you email or call us directly, whatever information you decide to give us.
Browsing data
Like any website, this one automatically logs a few technical details of each visit: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. These logs are kept on the server by our hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A., and are used only to run the site and protect it from misuse. We don't use them to identify you or for statistics: Aruba keeps them only as long as these purposes require, under its ISO 27001-certified security procedures, and then deletes them. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Why we use it
Only to reply to your request and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR). We never use this data for newsletters or advertising.
How long we keep it
As long as we need to handle your request and any working relationship that follows: [retention period].
Who can see it
The people at S.U.D. handling your request, and the technical providers who run our website and email on our behalf as appointed data processors: Aruba S.p.A., which hosts both our website and our email. We never sell or share your data.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–22 of the GDPR), by writing to info@southuniteddesign.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Cookies
This website uses no profiling cookies or analytics, and loads nothing from outside services: even the typefaces are hosted on our own server.
The only thing we store in your browser is the language you pick with the IT/EN switch, so that the next pages open in that language. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings. As a purely technical tool needed to give you the service you've asked for, it doesn't require your consent (Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Garante's guidelines of 10 June 2021).
