Odissea Museum
Red velvet drapes and hangings with the Odissea Museum emblem embroidered at large scale.

The brief
Odissea Museum wanted textiles that would carry its identity into the galleries: dramatic drapes and hangings in the red of classical antiquity, with the museum emblem readable from across the room.
What we did
We adapted the Odissea Museum emblem for embroidery, a horse's head inside a Greek-key frame, together with the rider's head and the name, at large scale, up to 20 cm and beyond. Then we cut and sewed drapes and hangings in red corduroy velvet and embroidered them in black and white, one at a time, on the workshop's multi-head machine.
The outcome
The embroidered drapes and hangings were made and delivered, ready to dress the museum's spaces.
